Be Gay, Bust Crimes
Alright alright, everyone be talking about this series including my faves thanks to the silly promotion contents. I watched it when it's still on going from episode 4 to the end, in total there's 10 episodes. Also, this is my first JoongDunk series so, let's see what they got here...
30% Solving Case, 70% Gay-ing
On paper, it's a mystery, thriller, romance genre but I think in some part the mystery is got overshadowed by Jade and Kamin gay-ing each other which is, annoys me a bit. There's some moments that makes me scream "BRO STOP KISSING, DO UR JOB!!!!", but all seriousness aside, I took that as part of the fun from this series.
Speaking of, the main plot here is that, there's this group of friends they all bffs, kind of... some are assholes, others are just straight up criminal. One is found dead at their own party and they accused each other for killing her. And that's where the mystery started.
Who's the killer among them, everyone is targeted one by one to death, where did these spooky "truth or dare" challenges came from, and what are Inspector Kamin and Captain Jade gonna do about it?
Kamin, coming from abroad to help Jade solve this murderer mystery just to get flirted every time he got the chance, even in the middle of work, at home, at the scene, hospital, gahdamn these gays...
Ngl I like this leader-subordinate dynamic, and JoongDunk really fits in to play the role of JadeKamin. Oh yeah I mentioned that the mystery aspect got overshadowed in some part but don't worry it is not that often, and even it's less frequent in early episode. But that also doesn't mean our MCs chemistry didn't go nowhere. Bro, the 'spicy' scenes are INSANE.
Borderline Brutal (BIG SPOILERS)
This part I'd like to dedicate it for the 'killing' part. So Imma rate each death scene in no particular order:
- Tar: Stabbed in da club. 6/10. Kinda mid, but still disturbing a bit. He deserve it tho.
- Bell: Drowned in acid. 9/10. I don't want to imagine about it.
- Tonkla: Crushed by a car. 7/10. Oof.
- Time: Stabbed at the throat. 8/10. What's disgusting is, he forced to watch 'videos' that he took himself. Go rot in hell dawg.
- Cherreen: Axe'd by her own bf: 8/10. YEAH THATS WHAT U GOT FOR CHEATING UR OWN FRIEND BITC-
That's all the dead bodies. Rest of em are alive. Jay? 100% traumatized for his life. Champ? one leg gone. And oh shi- 6. Puifai: Down in her own house. Idk how to rate this one, surprise-surprise she doesn't actually dead in the first episode haha whoops. What about dr. Puth? yes the real killer, he's alive (un)fortunately. At least he got taste of idk like 4th degree burns...
